Yeah looking at obs I can tell you for certain the rgem was a big failure for last night. Pretty much everything else had it pegged. Noted for future. As far as this one goes here expecting about the same. Not ready to enter the 19th thread yet. Energies look similarly weak and not trying to wishful think them stronger...yet

I'm more bummed about the long range and potential for losing what ice will be established for next weekend. This outbreak feels EXACTLY like dec Christmas 2022. Torch followed by record cold, followed by back to status quo

Even the RGEM has backed off combining the northern/southern energies. So frustrating to be missed to the north/west all last week.. and now we’re missed to the south/east.

Just means when we do get it, it's gonna be awesome!

You have more optimism than I do. We don't get snow in Ohio anymore.

That’s such a bogus model. No one local in PIT is saying anything but flurries for this time period. Should be banned lol

Finally updated, but yes, as we all expected big big bust with the rgem amounts last night going back to yesterdays 12z run which was at that point just hours before precip started

well at least I can say I got something from this dumb storm..radar trends seemed to be a bit farther into the metro than were depicted on the models …so much so Louisville’s NWS just expanded the WWA to include Louisville and surrounding counties

Snowing pretty good here in the way to work.

That passed through here also. The snowfall and 8 degrees has our youngest on a delay of two hours this morning.

Snowing pretty good here as well. No delays though (and a disappointed kiddo).

Nice wintry scene from the overnight powder...

Nice!

It looks like you cleared a path for the pup but it liked the powder instead, lol.
