Yep. It's way stronger than the NAM, which is strange because NAM usually likes to over-amp things, I think.

Yeah, that's what held my enthusiasm for the system down for a while.  Cold air is weak sauce...

Sigh, how there’s a hole in the Dayton and Columbus regions is remarkable.  And then the next storm looks too far west (although trending East).

Like someone else said, this is a way more exciting than the December tracking.

yup its becoming evident on all models that this "hole" your referring is about a 3-5 hour window where the secondary is actually strong enough to even bring precip to the area to before it completely transfers back over to the coastal. This is what happens when you have a 1010 maybe 1008 MB low.....no cold air wrapped in, no precip shield, and quick transfer bc of how weak it is

one can only hope, seems to be the outlier for now

Its depressing we've gotten to the point we're hoping for an inch plus event when just a few days ago we thought most of Ohio was looking good for decent snow...

12z Euro took a step back north.

This was pretty much my takeaway. At least it bumped back North a bit. The overall system has trended weak sauce for our general area, though, which is a bummer.
