At moment, looks like a Southern Plains/lower Midwest threat -- and a modest one at that -- but some runs have brought the OV into play to some extent. Will adjust title of this if OV ends up out of this one.

That said, this one has a good path.. but the atmosphere doesn't appear (at this time) to be cold enough to give an appreciable amount of the white stuff for most in this area.

We're all here - just my opinion...but it's tough to seriously track anything beyond 3-4 days out because of terrible model performance with winter storms.

This is getting a bit more interesting, feels like GFS had trended a bit colder/snowier for Ohio and Indiana, in line with some of the other models.

Local mets feeling more confident of decent accumulations around here. Heading back from NY Sunday so will have to hope they salt the roads before I get in.  So excited to start tracking again!!

Well 12z GFS showed the path to heartbreak here. Storm is more amped up and we just miss out here. We're still in drought so the rain is really important, but yeesh, that's a close miss lol

Deterministic models look great here, ensembles shifted north some with the 12z cycle. Might just miss out on the elusive foot of snow lol
