Ohiobuckeye45 Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 (edited) Based on the CMC and ECM, I-80 still has a shot at a marginal setup. The GFS is torchy Edited December 5, 2022 by Ohiobuckeye45
Cary67 Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 (edited) There is some potential for this system and ens support point to early mid next week for another one Edited December 5, 2022 by Cary67

Iceresistance Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 (edited) Can someone include "Snowfall potential with the I-80 Barrier"? Edited December 6, 2022 by Iceresistance

We can give it another day to see if anything changes. If not, I or @Ohiobuckeye45 can change it to “Upper MW / GL”. That should clarify.
Ohiobuckeye45 Posted December 7, 2022 Author Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) we must not have any midwest or great lakes posters left because there's a decent snowstorm inside 48 hours and the guy from Ohio who won't see a flake from it is the only one posting in it haha Edited December 7, 2022 by Ohiobuckeye45 1 2
Ohiobuckeye45 Posted December 7, 2022 Author Posted December 7, 2022 not too much variance, a little on the southern edge cutoff

This forum is basically lower midwest/OH valley 😆 Plus this is probably a nuisance event for those north of I-80. Edited December 7, 2022 by junior
WeatherJim Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 I'm from the Chicago area. I88, 30 miles west of the city. Kind of disappointed with this one missing north. Not much to say.
Mar66rus2 Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 I am in Toledo and technically north of I-80 1

Cary67 Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 (edited) 18zHRRR good for some laughs. At this point expect wet snow at onset turning over to a mix or just rain. Maybe an inch or so on grassy surfaces. Just saw NWS issue a WWA for 2-4" will see how it works out. If there's decent accumulation will post some pics Edited December 8, 2022 by Cary67 1

A little further away from Toledo since my wife and I are in the middle of the move, but still along I-80 as well. I tend to not get too excited about snow events this early on. They tend to scoot way NW of this area, as evidenced by this thread. Edited December 9, 2022 by NWOhioChaser 1
