May need to update the timeframe here for a couple smaller-scale days before the main event. 

Looks like the next storm system will likely bring another round of severe weather across parts of the south/southeast. Both GFS and Euro have a nice trough moving through next weekend, although the Euro is faster.

Moisture return could be a bit iffy in some areas but considering it's a week out a lot can change either way, as usual. Just something to keep an eye on.

Starting to get to the time of year where it takes less textbook setups to produce severe weather. Seems like this kind of trough, though, is more meridional aloft which is generally less favorable for severe weather on a larger scale.
