easton229 Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 Fortunately it doesn’t look like the winds will be very high around here which should help limit damage, but I would still expect a lot of it with near an inch of ice.
easton229 Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 GFS shifted south again and now it is sleet fest 2023 in my area. Much better than an inch of freezing rain. Another 50 mile shift south and I could be looking at serious snow. LR NAM isn’t as heavy overall on the icing, showing about .25-.5. GFS still very bullish with nearly 2” of ice in spots 😳 Talk about a historic ice storm if that verifies. 1

Moderators Hiramite Posted February 20, 2023 Moderators Posted February 20, 2023 A bit disjointed view of the ice potential in MI.

easton229 Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Team NAM. Push a little further north and I can stay all rain. Unless it would like to go 50-75 miles south of what the GFS has so I can get a big snow. Either way, keep all that ice away.
