  1. I went out for a second time last night this is probably my favorite picture that I took last night.
  2. This time around I have an Iphone 14 Pro Max and it can do 10 second exposures. Got some amazing pictures of our towns old-burnt down highschool in the foreground, and a couple pictures where you can kind of make out the Milky Way which is pretty cool! These are in Southern Illinois, I've never seen vivid red from Aurora here, it's shown up on camera very pink/red like this, but never to the naked eye. Tonight I got to see some real color up there.
  3. I feel like we were supposed to be seeing some weakening by now, i'd prepare for the possibility of CAT 4 at least landfall unless insanely significant weakening can happen today.
  4. AF303 was headed to make another pass at the eye and turned around, for why? I'm not sure.
  5. Recon is back in the eye.... We're almost sub 900mb ALREADY... insane. We're missing some data points but I wouldn't be surprised if the data we do have is accurate.
  6. Be interesting to see what recon finds when they get back out there, I bet she's sub 920's already
  7. new HAFS-B run initialized at 876mb, crazy that might not have been completely out of the realm of possibility if there was no ERC
  8. Wow, the rate of pressure dropping in Milton is ridiculous. Newest pass was 912mb
  9. Sitting at 943.6mb extrapolated... An hour till landfall, I could see it hit high 930's.
  10. Yep, that's a little thing we like to call Rapid Intensification
  11. The Hurricane Hunters aren't even in the eye yet and getting extrapolated sea-level pressure of 956.2mb
  12. Have had an MCS every day here in S IL the last week. I love summer.
